I do not start by selling you a platform. First I want to know what is there, what it costs, who depends on it, who owns it, what is broken, and what happens if we leave it alone.

- An organization needed to replace an aging collaboration platform without losing the content, identity, search, and operating requirements that made the existing system business-critical.
- What Jim did

- I shaped an open source architecture and modernization path around Drupal where it fit, infrastructure ownership, portability, and a maintainable delivery model.
